Cannabis field in Afghanistan

Somehow I can't find any cheap last-minute flights to Afghanistan, otherwise I would have been there by now...

You could have left me some

You could have left me some

A man who claimed to have smoked cannabis from the age of nine criticised North Yorkshire Police's attitude towards him when he appeared before magistrates in Harrogate. He said the police had been looking for a stolen television and he found himself in court for the tiniest bit of cannabis. "You didn't have to take it all. You could have left me some." LOL.

What would Jesus do?

What would Jesus do?

US customs officials have arrested a woman allegedly trying to smuggle 13 kilograms of marijuana into the United States hidden in framed pictures of Jesus Christ.

Top list of 'drunkest cities' in the US

Top list of 'drunkest cities' in the US

Magazine Men's Health has put up a list of the 100 'most drunkest cities' in the US. They drew this list upon such data as death rates from alcoholic liver disease, booze-fueled car crashes, frequency of binge-drinking in the past month, number of DUI arrests, and severity of DUI penalties. Fresno is #1, Boston is #100. Somebody around who has the time to make such a list for cannabis? O wait, you don't have to, cannabis doesn't kill...

Cannabis is fine, but Skunk is disastrous

Cannabis is fine, but Skunk is disastrous

Q: "My 18-year-old son smokes cannabis and says he hasn't been harmed by it, but I worry a lot, especially now that he admits he prefers skunk. How much more dangerous is skunk than straight cannabis?"
A: "Skunk users are seven times more likely to have a serious mental illness than those who use ordinary cannabis, regardless of their previous health and social histories."
Oh, the ignorance. Is there anyone who can explain the basics of cannabis to this doctor?

Brainwashed by a cult to grow cannabis

Brainwashed by a cult to grow cannabis

"A man caught with dozens of cannabis plants in Aberdeen claimed he was “brainwashed” by a cult to grow the drugs. Grampian Police found 26 cannabis plants when they broke down Iain Fox’s flat door in Aberdeen. Defence solicitor Sheena Mair said that her client accepted responsibility for the Aberdeen haul but explained that he had been “brainwashed” into doing it."
Hey, at least he's original...

Return of the Bongs

Return of the Bongs

Tiffani Kjeldergaard, a legitimate medical cannabis patient, was sentenced to probation on a non drug related offense. She continued to use her legal medication and tested positive for THC on drug tests. During a safety check at her house the police of San Diego seized cannabis, plants, bongs, pipes and some magazines. Although under pressure by the District Attorney and her Public Defender to agree to a plea deal where she would be sentenced to three years in jail, Tiffany did not waiver and she maintained to the prosecution. Result: release from jail. And yesterday she even got most of her stuff back.

A soldier's apology

A soldier's apology

What are soldiers in Afghanistan actually supposed to do? As far as I know they want to find a bad guy with a beard. What I also know is that cannabis has nothing to do with it. So why f*ckin' burn it? But indeed, the least you can do is apologize to your friends. And the rest of the world. That's a lot, bro...

Gardening equipment illegal in Finland

Finland

It might look like society is shifting towards legalization everywhere. Well, not in Finland. "Finnish police have raided a business selling gardening equipment, on suspicion that the company is deliberately promoting the use of illegal drugs by selling equipment for the home cultivation of cannabis. There are no precedents in Finnish legal history on whether or not selling gardening equipment can be construed as promoting drug crime. The police are testing their boundaries."

'Pot club' owner plans NZ-wide roll-out

Kiwis have one the highest rates of pot smoking in the world, and soon they will have "cannabis clubs" where they can indulge in their pastime. Pot dens, where people can smoke, buy or even formally study the illegal drug, are poised to open throughout the country this year. The first so-called "cannabis connoisseurs club" opened in Auckland, New Zealand more than a year ago. And given that police have turned a blind eye to the operation, the owner has now announced plans to open a club in every big city.

"I don't want to fucking give the United States government one fucking dollar of taxes. I think that they should go to fucking jail for getting you and me and 20 million people getting arrested for pot. It is the safest thing you can do in the universe."
